Fabulous Flippers Hall of Fame Show
The Fabulous Flippers of the 1970’s were reunited in Iowa City in late 2007. At the end of the show we were inducted into the Kansas Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We had not played together since the early 70's so it is hard to describe how it felt to be together again as "semi adults"playing to a crowd, some of whom had heard us back in those days.
Then in 2011 some businessmen from northern Iowa contacted Conrad Mead our trumpet player (from Canada) and put together an outdoor concert with the 70's Flippers headlining. It was a great night as well and may be the last time we play together in that kind of setting.
