Meet the Players!

The first CD I pretty much did by myself with a Digi 001 and a drum machine for rhythms. This time I upgraded to the 002 and added live drums and percussion. Many thanks to the drummers and other collaborators listed on this page who added so much to this album!

DEAN DAVIS

Dean Davis from Fort Dodge, Iowa, is a very accomplished drummer who has played with many famous groups. I best remember him in Westminster. It was a thrill to have Dean come and play on a couple of tracks. He even ended up giving my son Andrew, who also appears on two tracks, some lessons.

TED KLOTZ

Ted Klotz is another very accomplished drummer and a man that I have played with in a couple of different bands. He also plays drums on this CD.

STEVE PROTTSMAN

Steve Prottsman, a very close friend and keyboard man, plays some piano and organ on the album. Steve also has a great feel for arrangements and on several of the songs made very helpful changes from my original versions. He works very cheap.

AND MANY OTHERS!

Sarah and Becky came along and helped sing the chorus on one tune and a local band director, Monte Leichsenring, sang some bass lines on a chorus in another.
The rest is me on guitars, bass, and cajon, which is a special little wooden box you sit on and play, somewhat like a conga. The one I use has strings inside and can almost sound like a snare. I used it on Undivided Heart.
